We are clear in the sanctuary, and we will ZIP ON for the rest of our days

The double barrel zip line over the watering hole is one of Silverado’s most popular activity classes, but it is also the one that a lot of campers are afraid to go on, due to the height.

“Who here is nervous to go on the zip line?”
“Who here has ever been afraid?”

These two questions are asked to campers before they go on the double barrel zip line here at the Rado. While there are a mixture of yeses and no’s for the first question, the second response is most always ‘yes’. To ease fears and settle hearts, we use the ever-present nature of God to explain to campers that He will protect them. They have nothing to fear if they will trust in Him.

We pray that your campers will feel the presence of God and that their hearts will be eased here at camp and in the future.

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. -Deuteronomy 31:8
