God is rich in mercy and full of grace. He gives us new life, which we don’t deserve through His grace and He doesn’t give us death, which we do deserve through His mercy. God rescued us because He delights in us (Psalm 18:19). God loves us with an unchanging and unending love. He loved us so much, He sent Jesus to pay for our sins (John 3:16, Romans 5:6-8).
