Hello! My name is Taylor “Roctober” Gembol, and this is my first summer serving as the camp director at the Timbers. I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, and have been on staff at Pine Cove for the past five years. I have been married to my beautiful wife, Brianna, since 2017, and we are currently expecting baby Gembol to join our family in November! We just moved into our first home this past year and share it with our dog, Ruca.

This year’s Bible study is called “WITNESS,” and we will be studying John 13-17. In His time on earth, Jesus said that if we love Him, we must obey what He says, and the Bible is full of verses claiming that God cares about us obeying what He commands and understanding that He is our true and only Savior. “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6.

Thank you so much for entrusting your camper to us this week. My college staff and I make it a priority to steward their time at camp well and show them the love of Jesus. My prayer for your camper is that they have a seriously fun time at camp, but more importantly, they leave knowing who Jesus is and see that He is good.
