Hi, I’m TJ “Philly” Connor! I am The Timbers camp director, and I am from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I’ve lived in Texas for the past four years, and I’ve been married to my lovely wife Chelsea for almost two years. I love just about any kind of sporting event (playing or watching), and I especially love fireworks. This is my third summer at The Timbers, and I am excited for another opportunity to serve eighth and ninth graders.
This year’s Bible study is called “WALK.” We are studying the book of Ephesians and what it looks like to walk with Jesus in our lives! We’ll talk about how without Jesus, we are dead in our sins, the saving grace we can have through Christ, how to walk in that grace, walking in the light, and how to be equipped through God’s word and through community to keep walking.
I am so humbled and excited to have your camper at The Timbers this week. My prayer is that they have a lot of fun, but most importantly, I am praying they draw closer to the Lord. It is my hope and prayer that your camper leaves The Timbers with a deeper knowledge of the Gospel and a true desire to walk with Jesus every day!
