Today was another great day at camp! We started our day by raising our nation’s flag and learning our daily memory verse,

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.  John 10:11”

Our morning consisted of activity classes varying from horses, to archery and BB guns. Following all the excitement of the morning, campers and counselors took a much needed rest before jumping into afternoon activities, with something we call F.O.B. (or Flat On Back).

One of the highlights of the day was the fifth graders’ visit to the sixth and seventh grade camp, the Ranch, where they swam in the pool and swung on the Barn Swing. Back at the Towers, we had a Disney themed “Happiest Night on Earth” adventure, followed by club.

After the fifth graders returned from their trip, we had a fantastic fireworks show to celebrate the Fourth of July!

It’s hard to believe that it’s already the middle of the week. Time flies when you’re having fun!
