Summer camp is in full swing at the Towers! Yesterday marked the start of week eleven, and we as a staff could not be more thrilled. Campers checked in, quickly moved into cabins, and met their counselors for the first time. We are so thankful and excited for the opportunity to study and share God’s word with your campers this week!

Last night after dinner, we had the chance to meet Mr. Merkus and help him save his friend, Olaf the snowman, from Jafar’s brother, Jaclose! We ran around camp, trying to get clues from the townspeople in order to find him. Of course, the campers outsmarted Jaclose, solved the clues, and successfully rescued Olaf. It was an absolute blast and ended with a snowball fight! (Plus, it guaranteed that we’d get some much needed sleep the first night.)

After our theme night, we got to go to club where we learned about our theme for the week- Foundations. Our camp director, GetSmart, talked to us and cast vision for the whole week. We also got to learn about how camp works and met different individuals who would be leading us throughout the week.

We are so happy that week eleven campers are here! It is a joy seeing camp come to life with many happy faces, camp cheers, and exciting events. Proclaiming the gospel while having fun is something Pine Cove is and will always be passionate about. Thank you for sharing this week with us.
