That’s a wrap on Week 10! Friday is a great day to be a camper at the Towers. Campers spent this morning in “Camper Bounce”, where they could choose to go to their favorite activities, rather than an assigned activity class. A few popular choices during camper bounce were Camp Classics, the Gauntlet, and the Sea of Narnia.
Cabins that memorized their Bible verses for the week even had the opportunity to dress up their counselor for lunch time in the craziest outfit they could put together! The last daily memory verse in the “Armor of God” discussion series was,
“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Ephesians 6:17
During free time, a new tradition took the Towers by storm: Twimbeldon! Based around the sport of pickle ball, staff and campers alike enjoyed the inaugural tournament.
Later on in the evening, we had Splash Blast; a pizza picnic and pool party! There was also a time tonight where campers had a chance to share what they learned this week at Pine Cove.
It’s been a Christ-centered, others focused, and seriously fun week! As much as we love to tell you about it here, we cannot wait for you to hear about it firsthand from your camper tomorrow. We will see you soon!
