Hello Parents!

It’s only Tuesday of Week 7 and the last few days have been jam-packed with fun activities, cheers, learning and exciting theme nights.

Let’s recap!

Sunday, we opened the gates and anxiously awaited the arrival of our awesome campers!

For dinner, we enjoyed homemade burgers and blasted off into fun activities during Neon Space Adventure.

Yesterday, our first full day, we enjoyed activities like horses, scooter derby, pool adventure swim, and many others! The fun didn’t end there, for supper we had a tasty meal of chicken, mashed potatoes, corn and finished off with the deluxe dessert, a Pazookie (a big cookie with ice cream)! Afterwards, we played a camper favorite – Pitch Black Attack!!!! Once again, campers defeated the posse and kept them from turning the Towers into an environmental center for science classes. Thank goodness! Because, after all, CAMPERS…ALWAYS…WIN!!!

We can’t forget about today! The day was packed with fun activities, crazy dances, tasty snacks at free-time, engaging Bible studies and delicious meals! Tonight at flag, campers were almost unrecognizable as faces were covered with mustaches, glasses and curlers. What theme night is that, you ask? A Wrinkle in Time!

Even though its only been two and a half days since you dropped your kids off, we have had non-stop fun while learning about our Creator!

Thank you, parents, for entrusting us with your most prized possessions. We are privileged and honored to spend a week getting to know your kids and their hearts. We are not only having loads of fun, but also learning a lot about the story of Elijah and the principles of identity, faithfulness and obedience.

Today, we learned in 1 Kings 17 that God is searching for faithful, bold followers just like Elijah and the widow, who will give all they have in service to him. It’s important for us to ask ourselves if we are willing to give all we have to the Lord, even if we don’t have much to offer.

Here was a key verse from today’s Bible Study,

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
Proverbs 3:5-6

We are excited to see how the Lord continues to work in the hearts of your kids, as well as our own. He is so faithful and good. Thanks for reading!

Until next time!
