Outback as a whole is committed to the safety of our campers, not just in a physical way, but in a spiritual way as well. Our mission statement is “Pine Cove exists to be used by God to transform the lives of people for His purposes and His glory.” In order to do this we must always be pointing our campers in the way of the truth and the light. When someone lives in spiritual darkness they would surely be caused to stumble because they would walk with out knowing the result of their actions! Why continue to stumble when we know there is a light in this world?

Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.- Psalm 119:18, ESV

To stay in the light we should be following Jesus and his teachings. With his teachings come laws that are meant to protect us so that we may live life more abundantly. When we follow the safety guidelines, we are able to live a more joyous life because we know our spiritual safety is in the hands of the one true God. An omnipotent, loving, and holy God.

Our theme night tonight was “Watch your Dubstep”, a massive neon dance party where campers wore hard hats, neon safety vests, and a plethora of glow sticks. The campers danced to our many famous dances such as the Scatman, Wobble, and of course the Chainsaw!

Please continue to pray for the safety of your campers and our staff this summer. We can’t believe there are only three days left of week five and we are so excited that we have been given this time to invest in your campers!
