It’s only Tuesday of Week 3 and the last few days have been jam-packed with fun activities, cheers, learning and exciting theme nights. Let’s recap!

Sunday, we opened the gates and anxiously awaited the arrival of the precious campers! The liquid sunshine made for a cooler day as parents and kids made their way into camp.

For dinner, we enjoyed homemade burgers and blasted off into fun activities during Neon Space Adventure.

Later, we played a crazy game of sky ball – a tournament where four teams compete by throwing their colored balls into a tall, funnel-like goal. Whoever gets most of their color ball into the goal wins the game! In between each round, we moonwalked and danced to some “outer space dances.” It was definitely a fun-filled night!

Yesterday, our first full day, we enjoyed activities like horses, scooter derby, pool adventure swim, and many others! The fun didn’t end there, for supper we enjoyed a tasty meal of chicken, mashed potatoes, corn and finished off with the deluxe dessert, a Pazookie (a big cookie with ice cream)! Afterwards, we played a camper favorite – Pitch Black Attack!!!! Once again, campers defeated the posse and kept them from turning the Towers into a coal farm. Thank goodness! Because, after all, CAMPERS…ALWAYS…WIN!!!

We can’t forget about today! The day was packed with fun activities, crazy dances, tasty snacks at free-time, engaging Bible studies and delicious meals! Tonight at flag, campers were almost unrecognizable as faces were covered with mustaches, glasses and curlers. What theme night is that, you ask? A Wrinkle in Time!

Even though its only been two and a half days since you dropped your kids off, we have had non-stop fun while learning about our Creator!

Thank you, parents, for entrusting us with your most prized possessions. We are privileged and honored to spend a week getting to know your kids and their hearts. We are not only having loads of fun, but also learning a lot about the story of Elijah and the principles of identity, faithfulness and obedience.

We are excited to see how the Lord continues to work in the hearts’ of your kids as well as our own. He is so faithful and good. Thanks for reading!

Until next time!
