Aloha! Wow, what a great day we’ve had!

Today, our Cultivate campers had their first Cultivate-centered session, Luau theme night, and Club talk! This year your campers will be diving deeper into the “Seek” theme along with what the rest of Outback is learning. After dinner, instead of heading to Outback’s own theme night, they had a┬áspecial session with Neal “Plowasaki” Anthony about seeking community with believers and the blessings that stem from living a life in community with others!

How good and pleasant is it when God’s people live together in unity!
Psalm 133:1

After hearing Plowasaki’s short message, Cultivaters headed over to Silverado’s very own Luau themed pool party, complete with its very own root beer float station. When the fun time of splashing, sliding, diving into the pool, floating down the lazy river, and playing pool volleyball came┬áto an end, we headed over to fireside to hear from our Cultivate Program Director, EJ “Pops” Hibbler. He laid out the theme verse for the next few weeks:

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
2 Peter 3:18

He challenged campers to place their focus on knowing Christ in order to grow in grace during their stay here at camp, and also when they return to their homes and to everyday life!

Please continue to pray for your campers this week as they learn more about our Savior!
