We all have sin. We know that our sin separates us from a relationship with God and deserves punishment. The Bible is clear that the punishment for sin is death (Romans 6:23). But God is the Giver of LIFE. He gives us forgiveness and life through the sacrifice of his son. God sent __________ _______________ to pay the price we owed. He was blameless and sinless but gave His life as a payment for sinners like you and me (2 Corinthians 5:21 and Matthew 20:28). To receive this gift of life, all we have to do is admit we are sinners and believe God sent Jesus as payment for our sins. We commit to place our faith in Him and what He has done. His sacrifice is enough (Romans 10:9). We are able to have a right relationship with God because of His Son!!!

Questions for your kids:
- Is His life, death and resurrection something that you believe He did for you?
- What does it mean to put our trust in Jesus? Tomorrow we will ask the question, “Why did God do it?” Brainstorm with your camper some possible answers.
Why would a perfect God do that for sinners like you and me? Spend some time reading the passages together. Talk about who Jesus is and what He has done for us. Is that something they believe? Coming to know Jesus is as simple as ABC: Admit that you are a sinner and need Jesus. Believe that he died for you and is Lord. Commit your ways to the Lord and live for Him.
