Happy Wednesday from the Outback!

Yesterday was another beautiful, bright day. Campers hit the floor running in the morning with Pit N’ Palace. Individual cabins take time each morning to clean together and learn how to be good stewards of what the Lord has blessed us with. We then headed to flag, followed by a time of FOCUS where we all spend time in God’s Word before starting our day. Once we enjoyed biscuits and hearty scrambled eggs, we headed for the day’s first round of activity classes!

Campers spent the morning blobbing, zipping down the Rocket, flying off the trapeze, climbing the Power Pole, and so much more! As midday approached, we headed inside to refuel our bodies with some lunch. Lunch is a crazy, fun time where we sing at the top of our lungs, belly-laugh at skits, and reward the day’s winners of Pit N’ Palace and the Spirit Stick! Lunch was followed by good ol’ Bible study where we continued our discussion on what our purpose is in the Lord.

After some time inside for Bible Study, we headed back outside for two more rounds of activity classes, followed by the highly anticipated time of day: FREE TIME! The evening came quickly and we chowed down at dinner before a fun night of C-L-U-B and Operation Infiltration, also known as O.I. Tonight, campers won back camp as well as their hypnotized counselors after it was taken over by two old men who ran away from a retirement home. There is still more fun to be had, and we are ready to see what the Lord has in store today!

Please pray with us.

  1. Pray that campers would experience Jesus in a new and profound way that draws them closer to Him.
  2. Pray that we wouldn’t pass up chances to share the truth of who Jesus is, but we would be bold in proclaiming His name.
  3. Pray for the safety of campers and staff, that injuries or illnesses wouldn’t be a distraction to hearing the Gospel.
