It’s week eleven at the Shores, which means that after this week, campers won’t be the only ones going home. Most of our staff have been here for the past six weeks— some have even been here for thirteen. Some may think that, because it’s our last week, staff may slack off or care less because we’re leaving, but that is surely not the case!
Week eleven means more excitement and energy than ever! We’ve only got one more week, so we’re going to make the most of it! This comes in the form of crazy spirit competitions, energetic worship at club, and an unparalleled intentionality among staff to love campers and share the gospel with them.
This summer has been one for the books here at the Shores. We’ve seen prayers answered, friendships made, and countless campers come to know the Lord. As the end of the summer approaches, we look back in amazement at all of the things God has done here in the past eleven weeks, but we also look forward expectantly to see all that he will do in our last few days.
But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
