It’s Tuesday, which means another day full of making memories, from archery and the blob to camp cheers and theme nights. Tonight is the prehistoric pool party and it is sure to be Dino-mite!
Most importantly, we are learning about our incredible God through the life of Moses in our daily bible study. We learn how he was saved from death as a little boy and grew up in Egyptian royalty. The Egyptians worshipped many idols, but Moses stayed true to God. Hebrews 11:24-26 says this:
By faith, Moses, when grown, refused the privileges of the Egyptian royal house. He chose a hard life with God’s people rather than an opportunistic soft life of sin with the oppressors. He valued suffering in the Messiah’s camp far greater than Egyptian wealth because he was looking ahead, anticipating the payoff.
What a wonderful reminder that Christ IS better than anything this world has to offer. He alone can truly satisfy.
Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ.
Parents and guardians, please join us in prayer for our campers as they learn that faith in Christ is worth it all, and that they choose to keep Him at the center of their lives.
