Cultivate: Living Water

Jul 10, 2015 | Camp:

G’day Friends and Family!

Cultivate is in full swing and it’s hard to believe we are almost at our halfway point! Today the Cultivate campers had another special Club session with our Guest Services Coordinator, Barbara “Squeel Chair” Thalman about the role of The Word in our lives. We talked about how The Word is the living water that satisfies the spiritual thirst we all have. Jesus, The Word made flesh, is our infinite source of Living Water.

If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’
John 7:37-38

After a full day of activity classes, bounce and free time, the Cultivaters headed on over to our family camp property, Crier Creek. They got to help put on a carnival for the families! Not only was it a blast, but the campers also got to learn about serving others. They helped set up, ran stations, served popcorn and snow cones, and at the end helped clean it all up.

This weekend the campers will be over at Crier Creek again playing field games, having a pool party and shredding it up at the wake park (that family camp pool is fancy and FUN!). They’ll also have a special movie night outside under the stars!  It’s sure to be a great time. We will not be posting a blog tomorrow so look out next week for our next update!

Please pray with us.

  1. That your campers would recognize The Word as the only source to quench their spiritual thirst and not look for things of this world to satisfy them.

  2. Pray that their time this weekend would be safe, a blast and restful! We desire for our campers to be healthy and ready for another full week.

  3. Pray that the Father’s will be done in all of their lives and that the Gospel would transform their lives.
