At arts and crafts this week, campers had the opportunity to make bracelets using string and beads, with the different colors of the beads representing different aspects of the gospel.
The black bead represents our sin (Romans 5:12; Romans 3:23)
The red bead represents the blood of Jesus on the cross (2 Corinthians 5:21; Ephesians 1:7)
The white bead represents our salvation and how we are made clean through Jesus (Psalm 51:7)
The yellow bead represents how heaven is opened up to us through Jesus (John 14:6)
The green bead represents our personal relationship with God (John 6:40; Revelation 3:20)
Our prayer is that this craft will not only be fun, but also be a way to spread The Good News to the campers, and a way for them to spread it to others.
Declare his glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples. -Psalm 96:3
