In today’s Bible study we learned about the conversion of a man named Saul to Paul. God uses his conversion to reveal His redemptive nature in our lives and show how He is in control. Saul was a man who persecuted Christians and sought to destroy anyone who upheld the name of Jesus. Despite Saul’s sin, God chose to forgive him and turn his entire life around. It is amazing that we are not defined by our past, and God chooses to love and use us despite our failures. Our imperfections and sins were forgiven when Jesus died on the cross and bore them for us. It is a great reminder that we have a God who can make Himself known to us, redeem our lives from the pits of destruction, show us our need for Him, and use us to impact other people.
