Welcome to the Woods!

I know that you have spent a long day traveling, singing children songs, and listening to movies that you can’t see, BUT YOU ARE FINALLY HERE! It is our heart and aim to make sure that this is a relaxing and restful retreat from the business of life. We have been praying that this would be a week full of laughing, reconnecting as a family, and a week that everyone gets to grow in their relationship with the Lord.

Chris “Broflex” Boddy

In this past year, we have continued to make some changes around the Woods. It has been such a sweet gift from the Lord that we have been able to add a new cabin and remodel our camp store alongside our arts and crafts building.  I hope that this week you will be able to enjoy God’s incredible creation, time with other families, and our new pickleball court.

During the week we have a great balance of activities, fun, speaker sessions, and some much needed parent free time.  My staff and I are here to serve you and your family as best we can, so please come find us if you need anything.

We hire energetic counselors who are passionately in love with Jesus and who will encourage, challenge, and inspire each member of your family.  Your kids will be put into “cabins” (groups), with no more than 8 kids per 1 counselor, to do fun activities while the parents are in speaker sessions. We have a great week planned for them, and I am praying that the Lord would use our program, Bible studies, and staff to encourage and challenge your children in their walk with the Lord.

We are so excited that you are here and please don’t hesitate to call on us if you need more information or have any questions.
