Wednesday was another great day at camp! We started our day by raising our nation’s flag and learning our daily memory verse,
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. John 10:11”
After breakfast and morning activities, we came back to one of our favorite parts of the day…lunch! Here at the Towers, lunch is more than just a meal; we do cheers, dance on our chairs, and watch hilarious skits! Following all the excitement of the morning, campers and counselors took a much needed rest before jumping into afternoon activities, with something we call F.O.B. (or Flat On Back).
One of the highlights of the day was the fifth graders’ visit to the sixth and seventh grade Ranch camp where they swam and swung on the Barn Swing. Back at the Towers, we had a Disney themed “Happiest Night on Earth” adventure, followed by club.
It’s hard to believe that it’s already the middle of the week. Time flies when you’re having fun!
