First Full Day of Camp!

Silverado Fam, we are so pumped that y’all have entrusted your lovely ladies and awesome gentlemen to us for Week 10! Our campers’ days are so jam-packed, and we love having tons of fun all day long! Though, with great adventure comes great responsibility. We want to assure you that your kiddos are always staying safe. Whether it be at their activity class, theme nights, free time, or even just during Bible studies. The MOST important thing to us is that your campers are having a Gospel-filled, safe, and memorable time while they are with us.

We also want to keep y’all as informed as humanly possible throughout the week. So here are a just a few examples around the Rado: No one is ever allowed in the water (lake or pool) without multiple lifeguards present, ready, and attentive at their stands. All of the equipment we use for the ropes course is tested and trialed before your children even arrive. Also, the equipment we use is designed to hold almost 3x more than the weight of our campers, for maximum safety.

The biggest thing we can do, of course, is pray. No matter what we do and where we are, the Lord has His hand on us. We are in the safest place we could ever hope to be when we put our hope in and depend on Him; the firmest foundation. We are in constant prayer over your campers before, during, and after their time here at Pine Cove Silverado. Our prayer for you guys back home is that y’all would remember how big He is, and how precious His children are to Him.

When you pass through the waters, I will surround you. When you walk through the floods, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be consumed. You are My child, and you are precious to Me.
-Isaiah 43:2,4
