Today is July 25th! You know what that means? Christmas in July! Here at Silverado, we have decked the Wagon Wheel hall, sang camp cheer carols, and stayed nice and warm near the fireplace screen. The Wagon Wheel transformed overnight into a festive, holiday gathering place, strung with lights and covered in wrapping paper. Three special Christmas-themed skits were performed during all three meals, where two elves saved Snarky the Snowman.
All day long, campers were surrounded by Christmas decor, clothes, songs and cheer! Not only do our campers get to experience the fun of Christmas during the day, but also get to celebrate the birth of Christ at night during Club! We definitely enjoyed the Christmas worship songs such as Silent Night and so much more! The coming of Jesus is always worth being celebrated!
