What a powerful and spiritually impactful day it was at the Outback. On Tuesday nights we split our guy and girl cabins up for a special event for both our mates and maidens!

Our guys took over the evil king’s castle by destroying their stronghold with a water ballon catapult, mock cannonballs, and the sheer force of four camper armies! At the end of the madness the mates gathered around the glow of the campfire for a worship session and a chance to nail their sin to the cross as a symbolic representation for the sacrifice that Jesus made for all of us.

For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves.
Colossians 1:13

The maidens enjoyed a delightful night of running around maypoles, walking down the red carpet in their finest medieval linens, and medieval line dancing! After the nightly activities they gathered around the dock and gave up their sins to the Lord by writing them on our paper lanterns to be carried away into the nights sky.

Please Pray with Us.

1. Tonight your campers committed to giving up some of their sins to the Lord. Ask that God fills their hearts with wisdom so that they never return to them again.

2. Continue to pray that the campers are seeking out God while at camp and that they are safe, physically and spiritually.

3. Reflect on the things in YOUR life that you may need to let go of and give them to Christ our savior.
