Hang Times are a special time during the week when each camper gets to have some one-on-one time with their counselor. Hang times take place during free time throughout the week and happen at fun places around camp! Some favorite spots for hang times are the porch of the camp store, at picnic tables, on the lawn in front of the Wagon Wheel and at the tree house.
Hang times are a time when counselors have an opportunity to invest in each camper individually and spend time explaining the Gospel on a more personal level. Campers are able to ask questions without feeling the pressure of being in a large group. It is also a great time for counselors to speak truth and identity into each camper individually. Hang times are meant to leave campers with an even clearer understanding of the Gospel. We love pouring into campers and seeing them grow throughout their week at camp and are blessed to have this opportunity to invest in their lives even more!
