Its hard to believe that week two has almost come to an end. We’ve loved getting to serve and celebrate Jesus with our campers and are so grateful to you parents for entrusting them to us!
Tonight we have what is called “Camper Share”, a time when campers are able to share about their camp experience! Campers share stories and what they’ve learned during their time at camp. As staff at Silverado, it is our joy to serve campers as they learn and grow during their week at camp. It is such a sweet time to be able to see the impact that the Gospel has had on their lives at camp!
As campers head home soon, we’d love for this impact to be long-lasting. We’d love to encourage you to ask your child what they learned in Bible studies or at Club, or ask them to recite their memory verses. It was such a joy to have them at camp this week and we can’t wait to hopefully see them again next summer!
You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:22
